Art Labs in Action: Impact Evaluation Report 2024-25

Study Overview

This study is an evaluation of the Art Labs Program run at Shankarwadi Mumbai Public School. This report aims to:

  • Evaluate the Program’s effectiveness towards fostering SEL skill development and creativity

  • Provide evidence-based recommendations for educational stakeholders on integrating arts into schools for under-served communities.

The study used a mixed-methods approach utilizing quantitative data from observations and qualitative data from interviews and discussions. Secondary research and Program documents supplemented the analysis by providing necessary context. The Program outcomes from SArC’s theory of change and curriculum objectives informed the development of research instruments and evaluation framework.
